I am making some sort of progress in support of Carolyn Cassady, whose son John has been barred from the UK - just when she needs his help in her old age. I have a letter about her situation in tomorow's (Tuesday's) Guardian newspaper (http://www.guardian.co.uk/books/2012/oct/22/beat-in-berkshire).
I have also written tonight to the Home Secretary Theresa May, with a copy to Carolyn's Member of Parliament and ours. Let's hope it stirs up some action.
